Welcome to our home, a spacious exquisite house on the banks of the Mekong in North East Thailand.
After several years of searching we believe we have found one of the most beautiful settings on the Mekong looking across the river from Thailand towards the jungle and hills of Laos. The Mekong Jewel is a unique design based on the old Thai Lanna style. The leading Thai Architect, Tanakorn Somrit from Chonburi, spent one year on the design working with myself and my artist husband before the plans were finalised.
You will be staying in our air-conditioned guest wing with its own balcony overlooking the Mekong and our landscaped and lawned garden. Our aim has been to build a home which offers guests the experience of staying in luxury whilst experiencing rural life in a small unchanged fishing/farming village community.
